CLIENT ACCESS
ADD GRASSROOTS
WHY THIS WAY
YOU KEEP THE KEYS
Grassroots is a Badged Meta Business Partner and a Google Partner. Meta uses a business partner ID. Google Ads uses our manager ID 241-571-3668. Analytics and Tag Manager need alex@gr.agency, because Google has no partner ID there. Never share a password.
Staff should send a packed link, for example gr.agency/connect?packs=meta-organic,google-ads,google-analytics, so a social-only client never sees pixel, ads, or Tag Manager steps.
QUESTIONS
BEFORE YOU CLICK ADD
Do I add a person, or a partner?
On Meta, a partner. Use our Business ID, not a staff email. On Google Ads, add us as a manager with ID 241-571-3668. Do not invite a person on Ads. Analytics and Tag Manager have no partner ID, so those two need alex@gr.agency as Administrator.
Will Grassroots own my Page or ad account?
No. Partner access and manager links leave ownership with you. You choose which assets we can use, and you can remove us at any time.
Why do you ask for Full control on the Page?
That is how Meta lets an agency post, reply, and manage the Facebook Page without logging in as you. Full control is not a transfer of ownership. Facebook and Instagram ads also need the Facebook Page and Instagram account. The ads pack includes those assets plus the ad account and dataset.
I do not have an ad account, Analytics, or Tag Manager. What then?
Use the create steps in that pack, or skip and tell us. Do not grant an old unused account just to finish the list.
Can I share my Facebook or Google password instead?
No. That breaks platform rules and leaves your whole account exposed. Meta partner access, a Google Ads manager link, and Admin invites on Analytics and Tag Manager are the correct way.
